CIS Africa is looking for a skilled and dependable Security Supervisor to join their operations team in Pinetown, Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing security personnel, ensuring compliance with site procedures, managing incidents, and maintaining high operational standards across assigned sites.


This role is ideal for an experienced security professional with strong leadership ability, excellent communication skills, and a solid background in site supervision and security operations.


🧭 Key Duties & Responsibilities


Site Supervision & Operations:


  • Supervise and coordinate security officers on duty across assigned sites

  • Ensure guards are present, alert, properly dressed, and performing duties correctly

  • Conduct routine patrols and site inspections to maintain security standards

  • Monitor access control systems and enforce site security procedures


Incident & Emergency Management:


  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security breaches effectively

  • Investigate suspicious activities and prepare detailed incident reports

  • Maintain accurate occurrence books, shift reports, and documentation


Administration & Reporting:


  • Ensure compliance with company policies and site-specific security rules

  • Liaise with clients, supervisors, and management regarding security matters

  • Assist with staff scheduling, shift planning, and operational coordination


Equipment & Vehicle Control:


  • Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment

  • Report damages, faults, or misuse immediately to management

📌 Essential Criteria:


  • Must reside in or near Pinetown, Durban 

  • Valid South African driver’s licence with confident driving ability 

  • Own reliable transport

  • Valid PSIRA Grade B Certificate

  • No criminal record or pending cases

  • Clean disciplinary and employment history

  • Good communication and leadership skills

  • Ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
