PepsiCo is currently seeking an experienced Security Coordinator to join its Prospecton operation in KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will support site security operations, risk management, crisis response, compliance, and asset protection initiatives within the manufacturing and supply chain environment.

🛡️ Key Responsibilities
🔹 Security Operations & Risk Management
Implement and maintain the site security strategy aligned with company objectives
Identify, assess, and mitigate operational security risks
Ensure compliance with internal security procedures, standards, and policies
Conduct routine security audits and vulnerability assessments
Support crisis management and business continuity planning activities
🔹 Incident Management & Investigations
Respond to emerging security incidents and operational threats
Conduct investigations involving theft, fraud, product contamination, corruption, robberies, and other security-related matters
Prepare detailed incident reports and communicate findings to management
Monitor CCTV footage daily to identify irregularities and suspicious activities
🔹 Security Team & Vendor Management
Supervise third-party security providers and monitor KPI performance
Evaluate guarding services monthly to ensure compliance and effectiveness
Assist with training security personnel during strikes, disruptions, or labour disputes

✅ Qualifications & Experience
PSIRA Grade A certification required
Minimum 5 years of overall working experience
At least 3 years’ security experience within the private or industrial sector
Strong understanding of modern security principles and best practices
Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, or industrial environments advantageous
