Stefanutti Stocks is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale electrical infrastructure projects across South Africa. The successful candidate will oversee complex energy and construction initiatives involving substations, transmission systems, and electrical reticulation networks.
This role requires strong technical understanding of high-voltage systems, excellent project leadership capabilities, and the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and stakeholders. The Project Manager will ensure all projects are delivered safely, within budget, on schedule, and in full compliance with engineering and regulatory standards.
This is a nationwide, site-based role requiring frequent travel to project locations.

β‘ Electrical Project Delivery
Manage end-to-end lifecycle of electrical infrastructure projects
Oversee substations, transmission lines, and reticulation networks
Ensure compliance with Grid Code requirements and engineering specifications
Drive successful project commissioning and handover processes
π Planning, Budgeting & Performance
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
Track milestones, progress, and overall project performance
Provide regular project reporting to stakeholders and management
Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
π· Team & Stakeholder Coordination
Lead project teams, contractors, engineers, and suppliers
Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders throughout project phases
Ensure alignment across all project contributors
Resolve operational and technical challenges efficiently

Ensure adherence to HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental & Quality) standards
Maintain compliance with engineering and regulatory requirements

π Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Project Management qualification (advantageous)

Minimum 10 yearsβ experience in electrical construction
Proven experience in:High-voltage substations
Transmission lines (medium and high voltage)
Electrical reticulation networks
Eskom self-build transmission and distribution projects
