Clicks Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee inventory management, warehouse processes, and operational performance within its distribution environment. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate stock control, efficient logistics operations, financial accountability, and compliance with operational standards.
The successful candidate will manage inventory systems, analyse operational data, oversee stock accuracy, and coordinate with suppliers, stores, and internal departments to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. This position is ideal for an experienced logistics or supply chain professional with strong leadership, analytical, and operational management abilities.
π Key Duties & Responsibilities
πΉ Main Responsibilities Include:
Managing inventory systems, reporting processes, and stock controls
Ensuring accurate stock valuation and conducting variance investigations
Overseeing cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory reconciliation processes
Monitoring shrinkage reporting in line with IFRS standards
Analysing operational and financial data to improve performance
Driving achievement of operational budgets and financial targets
Managing company assets, warehouse equipment, and infrastructure
Improving warehouse productivity and workforce utilisation
Coordinating receiving, replenishment, picking, packing, and stock handling operations
Managing labour broker performance, scheduling, and cost control
Liaising with suppliers, buyers, vendors, and internal departments
Identifying obsolete stock and improving inventory turnover
