Curro Creston College is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Intermediate Phase Teacher to join its academic team in Port Shepstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across multiple subjects within the Intermediate Phase while supporting learner growth, academic achievement, and personal development.


This role involves planning, teaching, assessing, and coordinating curriculum activities in accordance with Curro and IEB educational standards. ✔ Bachelor of Education (BEd) and/or Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) specialising in Intermediate Phase.

✔ Minimum of two years' teaching experience within the Intermediate Phase.

✔ Experience teaching:

• English Grade 4

• Mathematics Grade 4

• Geography Grade 4

• History Grade 4

• Natural Sciences Grades 4 and 5

✔ Knowledge and understanding of the IEB curriculum.

✔ Current SACE registration.

✔ Clear criminal record.

✔ Strong facilitation and classroom management skills.

✔ Excellent communication, organisational, and planning abilities.

✔ Report-writing and administrative competency.
