Key Performance Areas
Perform Electrical / Mechanical maintenance on all plant equipment.
Maintenance, Fault finding & Repairs on PLC, Motors, Hoists, Conveyors (floor & overhead), DB’s, Lights, Fans, Spray systems, Lifters, rollers, ovens, hangers (carriers), pumps, paint systems, pneumatics, hydraulics & all plant facility equipment.
Servicing & repairs of Paint equipment, Pneumatic Pumps & Motors,
Participation in machine & facility upgrade projects
Perform legal compliance checks. Maintain quality standards & work in accordance with ISO standards.
TPM’s & RCA on all plant facility
Attend to equipment breakdowns.
Production support
Implementation of Kaizens and Cost reductions
Standby responsibility, start-up and switch off responsibility, and weekend duty.
Quality problem investigation and countermeasure
MTTR and MTBF improvement
Quality circle’s participation
Squad Kaizens
Qualifications and experience
N3 + Trade tested, (MILLWRIGHT).
Minimum 2 - 4 years post apprenticeship experience in manufacturing environment (preferable).
Experience in pneumatics, electro-pneumatics & hydraulics
PLC’s and Robotics experience would be an advantage
Must be prepared to work both day & night shifts on rotational basis, overtime and standby as and when required.
