A permanent opportunity is available for a Sample Administration Clerk based in Stanger, KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will assist with receiving, sorting, capturing, and distributing medical laboratory samples while ensuring accurate administration and excellent customer service within a pathology environment.


✅ Minimum Requirements


  • Grade 12 / Matric or relevant NQF Level 4 qualification

  • BSc Degree advantageous

  • 0–1 year relevant working experience

  • Computer literacy essential

  • Knowledge of laboratory information systems advantageous


🔑 Key Duties


  • Receive, sort, register, and distribute laboratory samples

  • Capture specimen information accurately on laboratory systems

  • Handle sample queries and report tracking

  • Assist with report distribution and hospital rounds

  • Provide professional customer service to patients and medical staff

  • Manage reception duties and direct clients accordingly

  • Handle cash payments and administrative documentation

  • Monitor stock levels and maintain housekeeping standards

  • Assist with resolving customer complaints and laboratory process delays
