The Fleet & Safety Supervisor will oversee fleet management, workplace safety compliance, maintenance planning, and operational risk reduction within the logistics department.
πΉ Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation and road traffic regulations
Conduct regular fleet inspections for trucks, trailers, forklifts, and warehouse equipment
Monitor daily fleet availability and operational readiness
Support ongoing shop-floor safety coaching and OHS training initiatives
Maintain fleet documentation including licensing, maintenance records, inspections, and job cards
Conduct internal safety and fleet audits while tracking corrective actions
Support implementation of safety, environmental, and maintenance improvement programmes
Attend weekly fleet meetings and provide operational performance insights
Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance schedules
Manage licensing and Certificate of Fitness (COF) processes
Obtain supplier quotations for maintenance and repairs
Monitor workshop safety standards and ensure safe work practices
